Mr. André Lachance is the Director of the R&D software and firmware development team of Opsens since May 2004. His principal tasks consist in developing and supervising the firmware and software development for all Opsens products. Prior to Opsens, Mr Lachance held Management and Engineering Development positions at Alcatel (formely Newbridge Networks Corporation), Applied Silicon of Canada, United Marine and communication and Sécuriplex. Since September 1988, he is a member of Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. Mr. Lachance holds a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Université de Sherbrooke obtained in May 1988. He also holds a Certificate degree in Optics obtained in May 2004 from Université Laval.
