OPTICAL SENSOR FOR HARSH ENVIRONMENTS The OPP-W fiber optic pressure and temperature sensor is a monocrystalline sapphire based Fabry-Perot interferometer. The combination of its highly durable sapphire cell and rugged Inconel 718 housing makes it the sensor of choice for harsh oil & gas downhole environments such as SAGD, CSS and HT wells.

SURFACE CONTROLLER UNIT & SIGNAL CONDITIONER The WellSens Gen surface controller unit is a robust and reliable multi-channel signal conditioner. It is compatible with Opsens’ harsh environment interferometric fiber optic pressure and temperature sensors the OPP-W. It can operate in temperatures from -40 to +70 °C. Its small foot print, low power consumption, ease of use and competitive cost make it the solution of choice for any field system. |
PROPRIETARY DESIGN OF FIBER OPTIC CABLES FOR DOWNWHOLE ENVIRONMENTS The WFC is a rugged heavy duty fiber cable with up to 8 optical fibers in a protective Stainless Steel 316L or Incoloy 825 multi-tube metal structure. Opsens proprietary fiber cable design gives the WFC outstanding performances in extremely harsh conditions such as hydrogen and steam rich downhole environments up to 300 °C. |
