Opsens' founders are known to have
pioneered the use of white-light interferometry
for fiber optic sensing and to have
brought this type of sensing technology
to the measurement industry marketplace.
They are now proud to introduce the
latest advance in that domain with
their new fiber optic sensing technology:
the White-Light Polarization
Interferometry technology (patent pending). Found
at the heart of Opsens' WLPI series of signal conditioners,
the WLPI technology provides absolute
measurements of the path length difference
of any kind of interferometric fiber
optic sensors with an accuracy
and reliability never reached before.

The SemiConductor
Band Gap technology is a spectrophotometric fiber optic temperature sensing technology that has been used in the power transformer industry for many years now. Based on the temperature dependence of the bandgap of GaAs crystal, this technology is used by Opsens in its SCGB series of fiber optic temperature sensors. Opsens is proud to offer an updated version, which is fully compatible with the existing sensors installed in the field but with unique features and performances.
